Bonsai - miniature trees, this is slow gardening. I can look back on these in 20 years time and know that they were started in the same month as i turned the magic six zero. Something to mark the passage of time and try to slow time down a little.
Starting from the left they are a juniper, a yew, a cypress and the last one is called Ellwood's Gold Pillar. This last one has the tiniest leaves i think i've ever seen. I've struck a couple of cuttings of another juniper, a prostrate one that is growing in the garden. I think i'll work up a small collection, they are nice to look after.
Other than these i am still beanie/beret (bereanie?) knitting, just finished a black and purple one for myself and today i'll start on a black and purple one for my sister. Strange how we have thought alike! thanks for dropping by, Kaite
