I'm doing some more of this shadow knitting that i spoke of before, above - you can't really see the pattern,
while here you can, fun isn't it.
i planted some several years ago and they just keep on coming every year. Some people candy them and use them for cake decoration, but i just like to see them in the jungle which i call my backyard.
There was a blue haze this morning in the foothills of Mt Billywillinga, don't you love that name, it only occurs when it's going to be a warm (read hot) day and after a storm the night before.
Lastly a shot of the "soft" corner that AMD wanted me to make on the stairway to nowhere. The camellia will grow well here and be double that size by next year, and the bromeliad seems to like it also. duck doesn't care, she's on her rock and that's all that matters. The cows came back again this morning and nearly knocked my fence down while trying to stand up to get at my wattle which hangs gracefully over the fence. The wattle has now been cut back and i have a difficult job on my hands to repair the colourbond fence before they come right in. Anyone know a cow hex?
And if you're feeling like some mindless entertainment right now, scroll to the end of this blog and please feed my fish, they are hungry as i haven't had time to feed them today. cheers and once again have a happy and safe weekend fellow bloggers.

Cute fish! I've given them a feed, so no-one else needs to now.
Fishies say thankyou but they are always hungry, i think they're piranha.
I like your blue day. where did you take the pic of the hazy Mt Geewhilliker from ..can you see it from your yard?
I still think there should be a shark in the fish tank, to chase them around.
Mt Billywillinga? from my yard of course, it was early this morning. that's part of my lovely view, looking north/west.
no sharks, i like the black fish best.
That knitting is amazing and I'm in love with Mount Billiwillinga. I think I'll make my word of the day!
I adore borage, one of my absolute favorite flowers/herbs. Lots of little blue stars...and it grows the same way for me. Those cows...they sound like they are really becoming a problem.
Wishing you peace and health and creativity and cowproof fences...!!
Penny, Billywillinga is up above Milkers Flat and across the river from Rock Forest.
Deb the cows might find an electric wire there soon.
I can see a movie in there somewhere! The Attack of the Fence Killer Cows!!!! I don't mean to make light of your predicament, but it must have been quite the sight!!
Blue is my favourite, so of course your blue themed post is wonderful. The view is magnificient and the flowers a delight to the eyes.
Clever knitting and just love the view!
